Independent Applicant Examination |
|
This is a new service offered by HR-Lab. Independent
personnel examination is essential when filling important and rare
vacancies (for example, executive jobs). In these situations risk of
mistake is very high and the company needs information more reliable
than biographical and interview data.
- We use original tests developed by HR-Lab specialists. Our tools
are based upon world experience of applied psychology and account for
Russian cultural peculiarities. Psychometric approach comparing a
respondent with the whole population makes the examination objective,
thus overcoming the subjectivity inherent in interviews and other
assessment procedures administered by people.
- Testing is combined with an interview that is conducted by
qualified graduated psychologists experienced as HR-consultants. The
interviews provide important biographical data helping to precise the
test results.
- Our customer receives not only detailed psychological portrait of
an applicant, but also a structured report in terms of competencies
relevant to the specified vacancy.
Together with our customer we define the number of
tests and inventories and a competence model that is adequate for the
vacancy. To obtain reliable data we normally use 3-4 tests. The
computer-based testing takes place in our office in a comfortable
separate room and takes about one and a half hours. After it our
consultants interview the applicant and give him or her feedback on
tests and interview outcomes. In 1-2 days the customer receives the
applicant’s test results together with the detailed report on his or
her aptitude to the vacancy.
- Psychological tests developed by HR-Lab specialists. An appropriate set of tests is defined together with the customer.
- CONCOM – an application generating complex diagnostic reports in terms of predefined competency model.
- Postdiagnostic feedback interviews helping to precise test results
and making applicants comfortable with the goal, sense, and outcomes of
the diagnostic process. Interviews with candidates for executive jobs
are conducted according to the Adizes methodology.
