HR-Lab offers HR-Center tool designed for conducting
organizational surveys and studies in Internet. The first release of
the system was introduced in 2004. The system is run on the HR-Lab
web-server and enables administering Internet surveys. HR-Center is a
unique instrument to fasten and simplify all stages of an
organizational research.
- Corporate Surveys (virtual votes) – a tool for creating and
conducting corporate votes. A survey consists of a number of questions
with predefined answers and fields for entering free answers. Some of
the most actual and popular survey topics include “Work satisfaction”,
“Innovation readiness”, “Psychological climate”, “Customer
satisfaction”, etc.
- Test Construction Kit – an application for creating and
conducting simple one-scale tests for knowledge and competencies
assessment. The user can create original tests or use the predefined
test library.
- Expert Judgments Collection (scaling) – an application for
collecting independent expert judgments. It allows evaluating people
and different other objects using different sets of criteria (scales).
Among other functions of the applications are object rating, experts
rating, and examination of the similarity of the expert judgments. This
application can be useful while collecting expert judgments for
competency model building.
- eLearning – a tool for creating own e-courses.
- Information Lane – a virtual bulletin board to inform survey and studies participants.
- Efficiency
Working with HR-Center can save time and money on copying survey
booklets and paper forms. The whole life cycle including planning,
specifying evaluation criteria or test items, administering the survey
and analyzing the results can take only 1-2 days. The automatic
protocol analysis is conducted immediately after a protocol has been
saved; thus the HR-Center user can view the statistics in the course of
the survey. - Anonymity
The applications enable users to take part in the surveys anonymously
form any PC. This forms more favorable conditions for the survey
administration and helps to collect more reliable information. We
guarantee that neither the HR-Center owner nor anyone else could find
out the real name of a respondent. - Confidentiality
The HR-Center owner sets the authorization parameters (logins and
passwords) for accessing specific surveys and survey results by himself
or herself. - Customer Support
Our service includes technical support of the HR-Center implementation
and application. Consultative and methodological support of the survey
administration could be provided upon request.
Besides the direct managerial use working with the
HR-Center has a strong motivational effect on the personnel by giving
people the sense of participation in key corporate decision-making.
HR-Center is primarily designed for the companies in
which key employees have personal workplaces equipped with PCs
connected to the Internet. The minimum system requirements are Windows
98 or higher, Internet connection, and Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
HR-Lab provides demonstrations, methodological
support, and individual trainings on HR-Center. The predefined test and
survey library provided with the system could be customized upon
request.
