COMPETENCY CONSTRUCTION KIT

PURPOSE and APPLICATION
CONCOM (Competency construction kit) – is a Maintest4 application for creating individual competency profiles on the basis of test results.

CONCOM system is helpful for HR-specialists implementing contemporary HR-management methods, such as MBO (management by objectives), KPI (key performance indicators), and competency based official instructions. CONCOM can be applied for competency model development, personnel selection, assessment and education.
Upon request CONCOM can be supplied with the corporate competency model of your Company. In this case the reports you receive will be formulated in terms of your corporate competency model. By default Maintest4 uses a basic model of 11 competencies developed by HR-Lab specialists. These are the most universal competencies important for the effective work in different professional fields and positions. Although we use a basic competency model, we are aware that specific competencies developed upon request could have more prognostic value for a specific company.
  • Leadership - ability to inspire, persuade and motivate. Ability to provoke interest and trust is very important for speech success, management of meetings and taking responsibility for the decisions made.
  • Achievement motivation – ability to demonstrate initiative, achievement orientation, readiness to start new activities, readiness to foresee and prevent problems.
  • Emotional stability – ability to work effectively under difficult circumstances (time pressure, stress, risk, etc.).
  • Client orientation – ability to attract and hold clients, creating long-term partnership; attention and satisfaction of the client’s needs.
  • Communicableness – friendliness, sociability, self-confidence, active communicative position, optimism.
  • Teamwork – ability to work in team, communicate effectively to achieve goals, ability to take responsibility for the results of the group work.
  • Orderliness – effective time and activity management: ability to plan time and resource, and to control work results.
  • Loyalty – reliability. Understanding of financial and informational security norms, corporate etiquette and subordination rules.
  • Flexibility – innovativeness, ability to easily adapt to the changes, contribute to the implementation of the new technologies.
  • Complex problem analysis – ability to analyze situation in a system way, take into account different conditions and variables and choose the most optimal decision. Ability to foresee and prevent possible problems.
  • Development orientation – striving for self-education and self-development, acquiring and using new knowledge and skills.
CONCOM is helpful in solving the following tasks:
  1. Personnel placing: formulating or editing employee’s official instruction by including important competencies (organizational skills and personal traits), correcting business processes requiring maximal employee efficiency.
  2. Competitive selection: rating employees by the efficiency profiles according to the model of “ideal employee” (ideal efficiency profile).
  3. Creating education and development plans for personnel: quantitative information from CONCOM can be used to formulate individual weak points that need to be improved via purposeful education and training.
COMPLETE SET and SUPPLY
CONCOM is a part of Maintest4 application and is supplied on the CD. Protection is ensured by parallel port key.

  • SVGA display, video card with the 800х600 pixels and more (1024х768 recommended)
  • OS MS Windows 9X, ME, NT, 2000 with Russian language support
HR-Lab “Human Technologies” offers development and implementation of a custom competency model as a part of CONCOM application.
